July 23, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
This course will enable the participants to develop an effective interface between the Incident Command and the Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
The ICS/EOC Interface Workshop is designed to provide participants the ability to develop Incident Command System (ICS)/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) interface implementation strategies or action plans for their communities by applying Incident Command System (ICS) principles.. By proposing and discussing options in a neutral environment, and to help them understand that there are no rigid solutions to the ICS/EOC interface issues.
The course reviews ICS and EOC responsibilities and functions and depends heavily on exercises and group discussions to formulate an interface. This course works best when delivered to Incident Command System and Emergency Operations Center personnel from the same community.
Course Audience: first responders (Fire, Police, EMS), public works, emergency management, municipal administrators, and VOADS (Volunteer Organizations, Active in Disaster).
