Training

One of the missions of Hempfield Twp. E.M.A. is to support the Township public safety response organizations by providing training so we all can better plan and respond to emergencies affecting our community.  HEMA is also a Pennsylvania Department of Health accredited EMS Continuing Education Sponsor.  Applicable courses conducted at HEMA may also be awarded EMS Con-Ed Credits.  The EMS Con-Ed Sponsorship is available to all Hempfield Twp. Area Public Safety Organizations who may request EMS Con-Ed sponsorship of their training to be applied through HEMA.  For more information, or to request EMS Con-Ed for a training event, contact: Training@HempfieldEMA.com

July 23 G 191 – ICS/EOC Interface Workshop

The ICS/EOC Interface Workshop is designed to provide participants the ability to develop ICS/EOC interface implementation strategies or action plans for their communities. By proposing and discussing options in a neutral environment, and to help them understand that there are no rigid solutions to the ICS/EOC interface issues.
Prerequisites: IS-100, IS-200, & IS-775

Pre-registration via the links above are REQUIRED.

All students must be pre-registered for classes at the Hempfield Emergency Management Agency (HEMA). In order to plan ahead for facilities and equipment, HEMA needs to know how many students are attending each program. All classes are limited to 30 students to allow each student as much training time as possible. Therefore HEMA reserves the right not to accept walk-in students at any program.

HEMA “No Show” Policy
As program space is limited, HEMA reserves the right to suspend any student who registers for a program and then does not show up or cancel out of the program at least 24 hours prior to the start of the class. The suspension will be for a one year period.
